MAKING A DIFFERENCE

The CLAWS Foundation and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia have had a beautiful and unique and special partnership for many years. And that partnership has absolutely been saving [a] countless number of lives across our community and across the world.

-Monica Taylor Lotty, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Partners of the CLAWS Foundation are working on some of the most pressing issues facing our country and the world today. The Foundation’s work is largely focused on the critical areas outlined below:

Health Care

The CLAWS Foundation has a particular interest in children’s health. The Foundation’s partners are working on childhood cancer, Alzheimer’s and rare and complex diseases. Other partners are focused on underserved communities, providing education and health services to at-risk communities.

Medical Research and Innovation

Excellent work is being done by CLAWS Foundation partners on cancer, epilepsy, immunology, infectious diseases and many other serious medical concerns.

Social Services

The CLAWS Foundation supports organizations dedicated to helping people in need of social services. Whether it’s programs for people with disabilities, workforce training for low-income individuals, or efforts to combat homelessness – especially homelessness of youth and families with children – the Foundation’s partners are making a difference in the lives of so many.

Humanitarian Relief

The CLAWS Foundation supports organizations to help refugees and those impacted by disasters and emergencies in the United States and around the world.

Fine Arts and Performing Arts

The CLAWS Foundation supports fine arts and the performing arts at the local and national levels, with a special emphasis on supporting young artists and reaching and educating children in underserved communities.

The CLAWS Foundation is honored to partner with some of the most effective and innovative charitable organizations in the country to change the lives of so many people in need. From funding research for rare and complex childhood diseases and helping to break the cycle of homelessness for women and families with children, to training community health workers in underserved areas of Philadelphia and helping to provide new spaces for children’s programming at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The CLAWS Foundation and its partners are making a difference in peoples’ lives.
